Earlier, the Sukhu government had promised that OPS would be implemented in the first cabinet meeting.

Officials were obstructing it by saying that there was no money

After this decision, Chief Minister Sukhu said that during the campaign for the assembly elections, we had promised that after coming to the government, we will restore OPS. Today we have fulfilled our promise. He said that in the past, the officers kept putting obstacles in it by saying that there was no money, but I gave my formula. Due to which the benefit of OPS can be given to the employees. Attacking the previous BJP government, he said that the Jairam government did not even give Rs 5,000 crore as arrears to the employees.

The BJP government left us with liabilities of 11,000 crores.

The CM said that after our government came, we made an assessment. This assessment was very shocking. It came to the fore that the previous government left us with liabilities of 11,000 crores. Sixth Pay Commission implemented. The arrears of DA of Rs 1000 crore have not been paid. Those employed have to pay Rs 4,430 crore. Along with this, pensioners have to pay Rs 5,226 crore.
