Border Security Force (BSF) personnel carried out a search operation on the Indo-Pakistan border in Punjab. In fact, at around 12:50 pm on Tuesday night, BSF jawans in Panjgren heard the sound of a drone coming from Pakistan. After this the soldiers fired on the drone. During this, the drone dropped two yellow packets there. BSF jawans conducted search operation in village Ghaggar and Singhok. During this, so far two yellow colored packets have been found with the suspected drug. BSF has given this information.

The intruder was killed by BSF on February 3

Earlier on February 3, a Pakistani national had tried to infiltrate in Tarn Taran, Punjab. He did not stop even on the warnings of the Border Security Force personnel. After this, the intruders who were trying to enter the Indian border were gunned down by the soldiers. The Pakistani infiltrator was trying to enter the Indian border by crossing the border from Khalda near BOP (post) Karnail Singh Wala of BSF. Pakistani currency was also recovered from the deceased.

Drones being used in smuggling

Pakistani smugglers deliver consignments of heroin and arms to Indian smugglers through drones and other means. A few days ago, a large quantity of heroin and weapons were caught by the BSF from the Indo-Pakistan border adjoining Gurdaspur. These days there are assembly elections in Punjab. In such a situation, heroin and weapons are being transported from Pakistan to Punjab. Pak smugglers are also delivering weapons through drones. On January 28, Pak drones were seen in village Bhanewala and Hazara Singh Wala adjacent to Hussainiwala border of Ferozepur and BSF also fired on them. In view of such incidents, the patrolling of BSF has been increased on the border.
