Operation Sindoor: Today, there was an intense discussion in the Parliament on Operation Sindoor, ceasefire and the valor of the Indian Army. Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress fiercely while answering all the questions of the opposition leaders. He openly expressed his views on issues like Operation Sindoor, Operation Mahadev, Indus Water Treaty and PoK.

India is the land of 'Buddha', not of war

Prime Minister Modi said, "India is the land of 'Buddha', not of war. We want prosperity and peace, but we should never forget that the path to peace and prosperity passes through strength." Emphasizing the strength and capability of the Indian Army, he said that only strong armies strengthen democracy.

Question on Indus Water Treaty

PM Modi termed the Indus Water Treaty as a betrayal of India's self-respect. He said, "Giving 80 percent of the water to Pakistan was the biggest mistake. This agreement was made by Pandit Nehru, which was against the interests of India."

Targeting Congress over PoK and Kartarpur Sahib

The Prime Minister, referring to the 1971 war, said, "If wisdom had been shown at that time, PoK would have been a part of India. Congress could not even bring back Kartarpur Sahib." He questioned the opposition as to whose government missed the opportunity to capture PoK.

Operation Mahadev and Pahalgam attack

Referring to Operation Mahadev, PM Modi said that terrorists have been killed in Pahalgam. He accused the opposition of raising questions over Operation Mahadev and said that Congress never thought of making the forces self-reliant.

Congress' statement: Acid on wounds

The Prime Minister strongly objected to the statement of a new Congress member, in which Operation Sindoor was described as a 'tamasha'. He said, "This statement is like pouring acid on wounds. Congress's trust is formed and changed by Pakistan's remote control."

Pakistan's missiles and drones failed

Praising the Indian air defense system, PM Modi said, "One thousand missiles and drones of Pakistan were shot down. Our air defense system is being discussed all over the world."

The country is laughing at the opposition

The Prime Minister took a dig at the opposition and said, "The opposition is asking why Operation Sindoor was stopped? The whole country is laughing at them. Operation Sindoor has not stopped yet."

Operation Sindoor still continues

In Parliament, PM Modi clarified that Operation Sindoor is still going on. He warned, "If Pakistan makes even a slight mistake, it will get a befitting reply."
