India-Russia Relation: Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov made a big allegation against America on Saturday. He said that America is threatening India with sanctions to stay away from Moscow. Trying to endanger India-Russia relations. In an interview given to Russian media RT, Alipov said that India is our true ally but America is trying to spoil our relations.

He said that American officials do not hesitate in saying directly that they want to distance India from Russia. They are threatening India with sanctions. The Russian ambassador said that some Indian partners are forced to exercise caution in their relations with Russia, but there are many for whom such an approach is unacceptable.

India-Russia relations are historic and decades old

The Russian Ambassador said that the historical relationship between India and Russia is decades old. Our relations continue to expand into wider areas in line with our national interests. Unlike our Western partners, we have never conditioned our cooperation on politics, nor have we allowed any interference in domestic affairs. We have always maintained respectful and trusting relationships.

Demand to include India as a permanent member in UNSC

Demanded to include India as a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council i.e. UNSC. Alipov said that our idea is to include India as a permanent member of the Security Council. He said that India can make an important contribution in promoting balance along with an agenda primarily focused on the interests of the countries of the Global South. The Russian Ambassador praised the Indian economy. He said that in the last 18 months, India has emerged as one of the largest importers of Russian oil.
