GURUGRAM / Two snake charmers arrested for extorting money and snatching bracelets by showing fear of snakes

The snake charmer gang has been active in the district for a long time, who, showing the fear of snakes, snatches money and bracelets from the women and runs away. Police have arrested two such accused from Gwal Pahari, who had carried out the incident of snatching bracelet from woman's hand in Sector-53 area. Police are also looking for other gang members.

On Wednesday, a local resident of Sector-53 police station complained that she had gone to a coffee house located in Sector-54 at around 08:30 in the morning. When she got down after parking the car, a man dressed in ocher clothes came with a snake in his hand and suddenly stopped the car door and stood and started asking for money. On this the woman gave him a note of Rs 100.

After a while another one also came

After this another similar person came. He also asked for money but this time the woman refused to give the money. The woman could understand that the accused escaped after snatching the gold bracelet from her hand after putting the snake forward. According to the woman, she was very nervous after seeing the snakes in the hands of the accused. Taking quick action in this matter, Sector-53 police station arrested him from Gwal hill area shortly after the incident.

The accused are residents of Delhi

The accused have been identified as Rohit Nath and Farman Nath, residents of Delhi. Two snakes and two snatched gold bracelets have also been recovered from them. Police is trying to gather information about the other members of the accused by interrogating them.
