Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha also played an important role in Punjab's assembly elections. In Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party had registered a massive victory. In Punjab, AAP had won 92 seats out of 117 in the assembly. After which AAP sent Raghav Chadha to the Rajya Sabha.

Arvind Kejriwal is confident that in the Gujarat elections too, Aam Aadmi Party will be successful in garnering the votes of the youth due to Raghav Chadha. AAP is besieging such BJP

Trying to humiliate Congress

We have to get their votes because we are the only option in the state in place of BJP. Criticizing the Congress, he had said that the Congress is probably the most convenient opposition for the BJP. The Congress had given a tough challenge to the BJP in the 2017 Gujarat Assembly elections, winning 77 of the state's 182 seats. BJP formed the government in Gujarat by winning 99 seats.
