It is worth noting that now the Uttar Pradesh government has made verification of land mandatory for PM Kisan. The Deputy Agriculture Director will take out the details of village wise farmers from the portal and give it to the concerned tehsil, revenue personnel will enter the details on the portal. It will be monitored by the Deputy Collector. Under PM Kisan Yojana, an amount of Rs 47397 crore has been paid to two crore 59 lakh farmers of the state.

In fact, many ineligible farmers are also taking advantage of this scheme, in such a situation, the central and state government is checking eligibility at many levels to ensure that only eligible farmers get the benefit of the scheme. Therefore, many types of documents have been made mandatory in this scheme, such as linking with Aadhaar, PFMS portal and income tax payers have been identified from the server of the Income Tax Department. So that no tax paying farmer takes advantage of this scheme.

The government has given instructions to re-identify the ineligible farmers. Under this, the work of registration on PM Kisan Portal, identification and deletion of ineligible farmers, completion of e-KYC and verification of their land is being done. Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra has directed the Divisional Commissioners and District Magistrates that the work of verification of the land of the beneficiary farmers should be done by July 31.

Not only this, instructions have also been given by the Central Government to download the data of PM Kisan and upload the land related information on the excel sheet from the Revenue Department, so that a new list of farmers can be made. In this, the revenue personnel will enter the details of their village. After this, the details of the land will be uploaded on this portal from the Tehsil login. During this verification, identifying those found ineligible due to dead farmers, landless or other reasons will be indicated separately, the installments received by the beneficiary will be stopped and the amount already paid will be recovered.
