Several dead bodies were recovered from the Kareri Lake area here on the previous day. These include the body of Sufi singer Manmeet Singh of Punjab.

According to the information, a total of 6 bodies have been recovered by the rescue team on Tuesday. In which the bodies of a woman and a child are also included. The body of Punjabi Sufi singer Manmeet Singh has also been recovered by the rescue team near Kareri village, while others who went missing during this period are also believed to be dead

Manmeet Singh, a resident of Amritsar district of Punjab, had come to visit Dharamsala with a total of five people including his brother. On Sunday, he had gone to visit Kareri Lake, but then it started raining heavily in Himachal Pradesh, so he had to stay there.

It is believed that Manmeet Singh and his companions were washed away in heavy rain on Monday. According to the police, Manmeet Singh and his accomplices went missing on Monday while their bodies were found on Tuesday. Apart from these, the body of a 19-year-old girl who was missing from the nearby area has also been found.


Bad condition of hilly areas due to rain

Let us tell you that due to continuous rain in the hilly areas, the condition is bad. Be it Uttarakhand or Himachal Pradesh, life has become disturbed due to rain everywhere. Due to rain, landslides occurred near Kangra and many roads were blocked, due to which hundreds of people are stuck here.

Most of the tourists and truckers who are trapped in this jam due to rain, say that they are stuck here for a long time. They do not have anything to eat and no help is reaching them. Like Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand has a similar situation, where a large number of tourists are stuck.
