Rajasthan Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasra has once again stirred political waters with a series of sharp and controversial remarks directed at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government. Speaking at a convention organized by the Congress OBC department in Kota on Wednesday, May 3, Dotasra didn't hold back in his criticism of both the central and state leadership. The event, held at a private farmhouse in the Kala Talab area, served as a platform for the Congress leader to address several pressing issues, ranging from national educational controversies to local administrative failures.
Demands for Resignation Over NEET and CBSE Row
A significant portion of Dotasra's address was focused on the ongoing controversies surrounding the NEET examination and the CBSE 12th class results. The Congress party has been consistently attacking the BJP-led central government over these matters. Dotasra demanded the immediate resignation of the Union Education Minister, citing irregularities in the cancellation of the NEET paper and errors in the evaluation process of CBSE 12th class students' answer sheets. He alleged that these failures have put the future of countless students at risk and reflect a broader systemic incompetence within the education ministry.
Allegations of Injustice Against OBC and SC-ST Communities
Addressing the gathering of workers and leaders, Dotasra accused the BJP government of committing injustice against the OBC, SC-ST, and EWS categories. He claimed that the current administration's policies are detrimental to the interests of these marginalized sections of society, while the convention saw the participation of several prominent Congress figures, including Anil Jaihind, the National President of the Congress OBC department, Tika Ram Jully, the Leader of the Opposition, and Congress leader Prahlad Gunjal, along with a large number of party workers.
Controversial Remarks on Minister Gautam Dak
The political temperature rose Notably when Dotasra commented on an alleged viral audio clip involving BJP Minister Gautam Dak. The audio reportedly features the minister using abusive language. " He went on to use the term "Chavanni Chor" (small-time thieves) to describe the ministers, alleging that they engage in petty thefts and resort to abusing the mothers and sisters of officials when their work isn't done. He further characterized the BJP government as a "circus," claiming that the state's law and order situation has completely collapsed.
Internal Unity and Public Issues
Dotasra also addressed the issue of factionalism within the Rajasthan Congress. He urged workers and leaders to set aside minor internal differences and unite to ensure a crushing defeat for the BJP in upcoming elections. He expressed confidence that a united Congress would emerge victorious in all future polls. Referring to Rahul Gandhi's recent praise for the Rajasthan Congress during a training session in Ajmer, Dotasra told workers that their strength is recognized at the highest levels. He encouraged them to take to the streets to fight for public issues, noting that their leader, Rahul Gandhi, is also fearless. He concluded by highlighting the severe drinking water shortage during the intense heatwave and demanded answers from the Chief Minister on these critical public grievances.
