His fans eagerly wait for Superstar Rajinikanth's films. Rajinikanth's film has been released in theaters today. Rajinikanth plays the role of a father in the film, who inspires his son to always follow the path of truth. But when he feels that his son will have to pay a heavy price for following the path shown by him, then he also regrets that he gave wrong education to his son. But in the end, such a mystery is revealed that Rajinikanth himself, playing the role of Muthuvel Pandian, is taken aback.

Story of the film Muthuvel Pandian, aka Muthu is a retired jailer. Who leads a simple life with his family. Rajinikanth played the role of Muthuvel Pandian in this film. His son Arjun (Vasanth Ravi) is an honest police officer. Arjuna gets into a fight with Varma (Vinkayan), who smuggles antiquities and idols of Gods. Suddenly one day Arjun goes missing. Muthu learns that his son has been murdered. Muthu systematically murders his son's killers. Only then it is known that his son has not been murdered, but someone has kidnapped him. From here comes a new twist in the story.

Rajinikanth has appeared in a strong character after a long time in the film. The film's director Nelson has presented Rajinikanth's character in a very good way in the film. In the pre-interval part, Rajinikanth is seen in the role of a well-to-do father, but as the story progresses, his dangerous side is revealed to the audience. The turning point in the story comes when he tells his wife that the patient in front of the doctor, Sharif in front of you, Gunda Mawali in front of the world, now it will not happen, now there will be only one face. Rajinikanth's comedic timing is put to good use in the film and his scenes with Yogi Babu elicited a lot of laughs. The dark comedy did a decent job in the first hour.

After watching the whole movie, it can be called the modern version of 'Mother India'. The one line of the story is the same, which has been molded in the new environment. But the story of the film leaves its impact in between. The screenplay of the film is also a bit weak. The director showcases Rajinikanth brilliantly, but his script lacks substance. The film could have been better if the script had been given some attention. The first half of the film manages to hold itself emotionally, but the pace at which the film moves, after the interval, the film starts losing its impact and the audience realizes that the climax of the film is also Mother India. As it is going to happen. Yes, the action scenes of the film definitely leave their impact.

The weakest link of this film is its Hindi dubbing. In the beginning scene, the dubbing of the actors has been made so loud that one starts getting headache. But as soon as Rajinikanth enters the film, the headache disappears after seeing his performance. The film's background score was instrumental in elevating certain scenes. Cinematography by Vijay Karthik is good. R Nirmal's editing is a bit sluggish. Some post-interval scenes needed editing. If you leave the song 'Tu Aa Dilruba' by composer Anirudh Ravichander, then the rest of the songs do not leave much impact. The cameos of stars like Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff, Shiv Rajkumar are an important part of the story. Tamannaah Bhatia disappointed a lot in the film. She is seen just like a show piece in the film. The performance of the rest of the cast in the film is fine.
