Uttar Pradesh / BMW rammed inside a container on Purvanchal Expressway four people died accident at the site of a sunken road

Uttar Pradesh | A major accident has happened in Sultanpur on Purvanchal Expressway. Here the BMW car has entered inside it after colliding with the container. Four people aboard the BMW died on the spot in the accident. The accident happened at the same place where the road had collapsed recently and a car was stuck. Police and UPEDA team have started relief and rescue work on the spot. The incident took place at KM 83.750 of Haliapur police station area.

It is said that the car was going from Sultanpur side and it was hit by a container coming from Lucknow side on the same road. The collision was so severe that the engine of the car and all four people fell away. One person's head was severed from the body. The car has been blown up. The identity of the dead is yet to be ascertained.

The car is numbered UK 01C 0009, which is said to be of Uttarakhand. Efforts are on to identify the deceased through the number of the car. Vehicles are being removed by getting cranes. Earlier, a little far from this place of Haliapur police station, a big pothole had formed due to road collapse in the past. Last Thursday, after heavy rain, there was a pothole on the road 5 feet deep and 15 feet wide on KM 83. in which a car was stuck.

High speed is said to be the cause of the accident. UPDA officials will investigate and report. All are residents of Uttarakhand. More information is being done now.
