CM Yogi Adityanath Warns Against Playing With Public Faith In Ram Mandir Case

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has issued a stern warning following the FIR in the Ram Mandir donation theft case, emphasizing a zero-tolerance policy against those tampering with public faith and confirming 8 arrests.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has delivered a powerful statement regarding the ongoing investigation into the Ram Mandir donation theft case. Following the registration of the first FIR based on the preliminary report submitted by the Special Investigation Team (SIT), the Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring justice and that the culprits will face the strictest possible punishment. He confirmed that 8 arrests have already been made in connection with this case, signaling a swift response from the administration to protect the sanctity of the temple's offerings.

Action Based on SIT Findings

Addressing the developments, CM Yogi Adityanath stated that he had previously promised action once the SIT report was submitted. With the report now in hand, the legal process has commenced, while he took the opportunity to criticize those raising allegations against the investigation, suggesting that their intentions aren't honorable. According to the Chief Minister, these critics are the same individuals who once denied the existence of Lord Ram and rejected the significance of Ayodhya. He urged the opposition parties to respect the sanctity of Ayodhya, which stands as a symbol of faith for millions, and advised them to follow the ideals of Shri Ram instead of making baseless accusations.

Zero Tolerance Against Crime and Mafia

During a program in Deoria, the Chief Minister reiterated his government's firm stance on law and order. He declared that anyone who plays with public faith will be dealt with under a zero-tolerance policy. This policy, he explained, is applicable to crime, criminals, and the mafia mindset. He stated that from the very first day his government was formed, the mandate was to work with zero tolerance. He warned that those who attempt to disrupt the peace or disrespect the faith of the people will face severe consequences. He specifically mentioned that if anyone creates a disturbance in a festive atmosphere, they will suffer the repercussions for 7 generations.

Criticism of SP and Congress

CM Yogi Adityanath launched a scathing attack on the Samajwadi Party and the Congress, accusing them of turning the state into a hub for mafia and riots in the past. He recalled a specific incident from 2016 at the Madanpur police station where weapons were looted and the entire station was set on fire. He contrasted this with the current situation, noting that today, during Muharram, there is no sign of such lawlessness. He emphasized that no one is allowed to display weapons or engage in hooliganism on the streets anymore. He further alleged that the Congress had not only looted the country but had also 'plucked' it away, while the opposition used to fire bullets at Ram devotees and impose bans on the Kanwar Yatra.

A Warning to the Opposition

The Chief Minister concluded by advising the opposition not to test the patience of Ram devotees. He challenged them to present any evidence they might have to the SIT instead of playing with the emotions of the public. He remarked that those who used to orchestrate riots during Ram Navami are now trying to teach lessons on faith.
