Even in minus 20 degree temperature, the spirits of the soldiers are completely high. In this area adjacent to the China and Tibet border, ITBP personnel keep patrolling in all weather. Any kind of infiltration or movement from across the border is monitored. A large area of ​​Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti districts of the state is adjacent to China and Tibet.

It has been snowing continuously in Lahaul-Spiti for the last five days. Hence all the connectivity routes along the main roads have been blocked. There has been heavy snowfall at both ends of Rohtang Pass and Atal Tunnel. Four feet in Rohtang Pass and three feet in Koksar and Sissu including both ends of the tunnel. While snowfall is being reported continuously in many parts of the valley amid snowfall. Snowfall again fell in Lahaul for the third consecutive day. However it did no harm.

Weather will be clear in plains districts

The weather will remain clear in Himachal's plain districts of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur and Kangra on Sunday and Monday. There is a possibility of light rain and snow in the central and high hill districts of Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, Chamba, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti on Sunday and Monday. Due to the active western disturbance from the night of February 28, the weather is likely to be worse on March 1 and 2.
