The Delhi High Court has said that it will hear on October 6 the cases filed by various associations of doctors against Baba Ramdev over the use of 'Coronil'. The court asked Baba Ramdev to respond to the petitions of doctors' associations that the hearing here should not be stalled due to allegedly similar petitions pending in the Supreme Court. Justice Anoop Jairam Bhambhani on Thursday issued notice to the respondents Ramdev, Patanjali Ayurved Limited and others on the applications given by the plaintiffs (doctors' association) and said that I will give you some time. Doctors had accused Ramdev of misleading people

It is noteworthy that several organizations/associations of doctors had filed an application in the High Court last year alleging that Ramdev is misleading people to a great extent that allopathy is responsible for the deaths of people infected with the corona virus and claiming that Patanjali There is a cure for coronil covid.

Senior advocate Akhil Sibal, appearing for the litigants, argued that there is no control on when the hearing will be held there and the date in the Supreme Court is fixed by computer, due to the petitions filed by someone else in the Supreme Court, the hearing in the High Court is not stopped. needed.

Senior advocate Inderbir Singh, appearing for Patanjali, one of the respondents, submitted that it has applied for bringing the present hearing to the notice of the Supreme Court and it is likely to be listed soon.

The court, in an oral order on August 26, had said that in accordance with judicial propriety and discipline, it should exercise control over the hearing before it till there is some clarity on the petitions pending in the Supreme Court on an allegedly similar issue.
