Lok Sabha Election: China had changed the names of some areas of Arunachal Pradesh, on which Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given a strict reply. The Defense Minister said that if tomorrow we change the names of some states of China, will they become a part of India? The country's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had reached Arunachal Pradesh on April 9, where he took a tough stance on China.

In fact, recently China had posted on its website that 30 places in Arunachal Pradesh have been given Chinese names. To which the country's Defense Minister Rajnath Singh replied while addressing the people in Namsai, Arunachal. The Defense Minister said that China has just changed the names of 30 places of Arunachal Pradesh and posted them on its website. He further said that nothing will happen by changing the name, I want to tell my neighbor that if tomorrow we change the names of some states of some provinces of China, will those states of China become ours by changing the name?

India has the power to respond

Responding to China, the Defense Minister said that we want to maintain good relations with our neighbours, but if anyone tries to hurt India's honour, then today India has the power to respond to it.

Recalling the words of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Rajnath Singh said that I believe that such actions will spoil the relations between India and China. In our country, Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji used to say that we should always keep in mind that friends change in life but neighbors do not change. China continuously claims Arunachal Pradesh as its share, on which the Defense Minister said that Arunachal Pradesh is geographically the first state of India, the footsteps of Lord Surya first fall in this Arunachal Pradesh in India. This state also has a strategic significance.

Now China has changed the names of 30 places of Arunachal Pradesh and posted it on its website. Nothing will happen by changing the name. I want to tell my neighbor that if tomorrow we change the names of some states of some provinces of China, will those states of China become ours by changing the names: RM

China named 30 places

China already claims Arunachal Pradesh and names it Jijang in its language. Recently, information had come to light that the Chinese Ministry of Civil Affairs on Saturday changed the names of 30 more places in Arunachal Pradesh and gave them Chinese names.

These 30 places include 11 residential areas, 12 mountains, four rivers, one lake, one pass and one vacant land. In a statement, China had earlier also claimed Arunachal Pradesh and said that Jijang (Chinese name of Arunachal Pradesh) is a part of China and China will never accept the so-called Arunachal Pradesh of India and strictly opposes it. On which the Indian Foreign Ministry had given a strong reply to China and said that Beijing may keep repeating its absurd claims as many times as it wants, but this will not change our stand that Arunachal Pradesh was, is and will always be our part.
