Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while conveying warm wishes to the people of the state on Himachal Day, tweeted – It is a very happy coincidence that in the 75th year of the country's independence, Himachal Pradesh is also celebrating its 75th Foundation Day. When Himachal Pradesh was formed in 1948, there were challenges like mountains. Being a small mountainous region, there were more apprehensions than possibilities due to difficult conditions, challenging geography.
But the hardworking, honest, hardworking people of Himachal converted this challenge into opportunities. Several parameters like horticulture, literacy rate, power surplus state, village-to-village road facility and door-to-door water and electricity facility show the progress of this hill state. Now we have to work fast to bring out the full potential of Himachal. In the coming 25 years, 100 years of the establishment of Himachal and the country's independence are going to be completed.
