The department has increased the price by five rupees for one-way on light vehicles and 15 to 25 rupees in commercial.

NHAI makes recovery on Nawabganj on Kanpur highway, Ahmedpur on Faizabad highway, Dakhina on Rohini and Rae Bareli highways. NHAI project director NN Giri said that on Friday, financial year 2021-22 notifications have been issued. The car and jeep toll tax has been increased by five rupees. The maximum increase has been in the toll of the oversize vehicle. Of these, one side toll has been increased by 25 and the toll on both sides has been increased by 45 rupees.

They are exempted from toll tax

Defense vehicles, fire extinguishers, ambulances, dead bodies, VIP sign vehicles will not have to pay toll tax. Apart from this, who have received the Param Vir Chakra, Mahavir Chakra, Ashok Chakra, Shaurya Chakra, Ashok Chakra, submit a photo identity proof certified by the competent authority. They will not have to pay toll tax.
