Researchers from IIT Hyderabad have prepared a solution effective in the treatment of black fungus. This solution will be given by mouth to the patient.

After two years of research, Researcher is now confident of this solution. They believe it can be given for mass production. Another special feature of this solution is that it is very economical. The price of this 60 mg tablet is only 200 rupees.

For the past two years, Professor Saptarishi Majumdar, Dr. I have been working on this solution at IIT Hyderabad. Chandra Shekhar Sharma and his PhD scholars Mrinalini Gaidhane and Anandita Laha were working.

"After two years of study, the researchers are confident that this technology can be transferred to the appropriate pharma partners for mass production," the institute said.

"Cal-azar treatment is currently being used in the country to treat black and other types of fungus and considering its availability and cost-effectiveness, emergency and immediate trial of this drug should be allowed," it said. '

Sharma said that this technology is free from intellectual property rights so that it can be mass-produced and available to the public at an affordable and accessible rate.
