During a press conference, Raghav Chadha was accompanied on stage by two other MPs, Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal. Chadha asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party has deviated from its core principles, leading to the decision by two-thirds of its MPs to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Allegations of Deviation from Principles

Addressing the media, Raghav Chadha expressed his disappointment with the party's current direction. He stated, 'The Aam Aadmi Party, which I nurtured with my blood and sweat and gave 15 years of my youth, has deviated from its principles, values, and core foundations. ' Consequently, he announced his separation from AAP to move closer to the public.

Merger with BJP under Constitutional Provisions

While addressing the press conference alongside Sandeep Pathak and Ashok Mittal, MP Raghav Chadha detailed the plan for the merger. ' This move signifies a major split in the party's legislative wing.

During the announcement, Sandeep Pathak also shared his views. He mentioned that he never prioritized himself and always put the Aam Aadmi Party and Arvind Kejriwal first. Pathak noted that while there are millions of party workers who support AAP, the party itself has lost its way and deviated from its original principles.
