There is also a big business of oil, gas, diamonds and gold. A report in February claimed that Prigogine had earned more than US$250 million over the past four years from oil, gas, diamond and gold production in Sudan, Syria and other countries.

It is claimed that Prigogine's Wagner Group used to loot diamonds, gold, oil and gas from the countries where it operated. Along with this, he was also being paid directly by the governments. It is even claimed that Prigogine used to make money from dubious government contracts and natural resources. According to reports, Prigogine's business and activities are spread across at least 10 countries in Africa, where he was engaged in activities ranging from security and arms training to mining and other commercial activities.

Prigogine had an eye on gold mines in African countries

The news of Wagner's presence in the Central African Republic first came to the world in the year 2018. Then a new magic of Prigogine was revealed. After this revelation, people understood that the Wagner Group's fighters are waging war in the Central African Republic so that Prigozhin can take over the diamond and gold mines there.

Here also the Wangar Group had its eye on the gold mines and oil wells of Sudan. Since then Prigogine's company M Invest is doing gold mining work in Sudan.

Prigogine made huge money from oil wells in Syria

Like Sudan, the government of Syria also gave the contract of oil wells to Prigogine's company. In return, the Syrian government promised to give Prigozhin's company a 25 percent stake in oil wells that were freed from the control of rebel groups. According to a report, the Wagner Group headed by Prigogine used to earn Rs 2,378 crore every year from gold mining alone.

There was an annual income of 44 crores in the timber business. Apart from this, Prigogine used to earn a lot from the business of beverages. The big question is what will happen to Prigogine's empire now? Will Prigogine's rivals capture him? Or will a war of words break out within the Wagner Group for possession of it?
