Donald Trump News / What was Trump trying to hide to avoid embarrassment in front of PM Modi

Former US President Donald Trump admitted that he hid the real state of Washington from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other global leaders. He got the tents and graffiti covered and the routes diverted. Now Trump has given instructions to clean up and beautify the city.

Donald Trump News: US President Donald Trump has recently revealed that when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to meet him, he tried to hide some things from him. Trump admitted that he did not want India and other global leaders to come across some realities of Washington D.C., which would embarrass America.

Washington reality and Trump's move

According to Trump, he took special steps to protect not only Modi but also other international leaders from seeing the tents and graffiti located near the federal buildings in Washington. He also ensured that these leaders do not see the potholes and other inconvenient scenes on the streets of Washington. For this, the President specially changed their route and temporarily covered many parts of the city.

Start of cleaning campaign

Trump has also recently ordered to start a cleaning campaign in Washington D.C. In his statement given at the Ministry of Justice, he said, "We are cleaning our city. We are organizing this capital and will not promote crime. We are going to remove the graffiti and have already started the process of removing the tents."

President Trump also mentioned that Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser has done a good job in this direction and now the administration is speeding up this cleaning process.

Instruction to remove tents

After Prime Minister Modi's visit, Trump has apparently instructed to remove tents from Washington. He said, "There are a lot of tents right in front of the Ministry of External Affairs. They have to be removed. We want our capital to be a topic of discussion around the world."

Trump further said that when Modi, the President of France, the Prime Minister of Britain and other world leaders visited him in the last few weeks, he had changed their route so that they could not see the tents, graffiti, broken barriers and potholes. He said, "We made it beautiful. Now it's time to fix it permanently."

An attempt to save America's image

Trump's move can be seen as an attempt to maintain America's global image. He did not want foreign leaders to see the US capital in a messy or unattractive form. However, this decision is also being criticized because it was only a temporary solution and did not provide a permanent solution to the real problems of Washington.

These decisions of Trump make it clear that he is very cautious about America's global image and wants to present America in an ideal form in front of international leaders. However, now the question arises whether this cleaning campaign was just a show or any concrete steps will be taken towards solving the real problems of Washington?
