Rajasthan Politics: The politics of Rajasthan has come to a new point. Preparations are on to file nomination for the post of Congress President of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. The high command's choice as chief minister in his place is Sachin Pilot, but the Gehlot camp is furious over the pilot's name. Even before the meeting of the legislature party, about 70 MLAs of Gehlot faction have started resigning after reaching the house of Speaker CP Joshi. Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas claimed that we have 92 MLAs. Our only demand is that CM should not be made out of the people who rebelled. Here, the high command has called Gehlot-pilot to Delhi.

According to sources, the high command will advise both Gehlot and Pilot. According to the information, KC Venugopal has called both of them and given this message of Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi.

At the same time, Sachin Pilot, his supporters MLA and some other MLAs have reached CM House for the legislative party meeting.

Earlier, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot reached the hotel to meet state in-charge Ajay Maken and Observer Mallikarjun Kharge. After a short meeting, all three reached the CM House. But the meeting was canceled due to non-availability of several MLAs.

On the issue of changing the CM in Congress, the pro-Gehlot MLAs have threatened mass resignation. In a meeting at the house of Minister Shanti Dhariwal, the MLAs of the Gehlot faction met Speaker CP Joshi and made a strategy to submit their resignations. Several MLAs of the Gehlot faction have advised to boycott the legislature party meeting. More than 70 MLAs were present in this meeting.

Before the meeting of the legislature party, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that in such meetings, we pass a one-line resolution that whatever the high command decides, we will accept it. This media has spread that I do not want to leave the post of CM, I had told the high command on August 9 that only the government which can get the repeat done should be made CM.

The MLAs are reaching Dhariwal's bungalow for the meeting. A luxury bus has also been arranged at Dhariwal's bungalow. The MLAs supporting Gehlot can go to the meeting of the legislature party together with this bus.

Invitation of independents in the meeting of the legislature party

Pro-Congress independent MLAs have also been called in the legislature party meeting called in the evening for a consultation on the CM. These MLAs have been given the status of associate members of Congress, so they have been called in the meeting.

Minister Subhash Garg said that two years ago a conspiracy was hatched to topple the Gehlot government in Rajasthan with the BJP, then 102 MLAs and allies together saved the government. Garg said that after the post is vacant, there is an opinion poll, this is not the time for opinion polls. The decision of the high command will be accepted by all. However, the high command should keep in mind the expectations of the people of Rajasthan and the MLA.

The purpose of Ajay Maken and Kharge coming to the legislature party meeting is believed to be to grope the MLAs in the name of the new CM. Both the leaders will know the opinion about two to three names of the new CM face in the meeting of the legislature party and then submit the report to the high command. The same process is followed for the selection of CM in Congress. In the year 2018, KC Venugopal was sent to the Legislative Party meeting to take opinion on the CM.

In the legislature party meeting, Maken and Kharge will know each MLA's opinion. However, till now it has been the convention of Congress that the decision of selection of new CM is left to the high command. There is a similar possibility in Jaipur as well.
