The Worldwide Cost of Living 2021 report has been released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). According to the index, Tel Aviv is listed as the most expensive city in the world, while Damascus in Syria is considered the cheapest city to live in the world. 

Damascus: Damascus, the capital of Syria, is the cheapest city in the world. It is one of the oldest cities in the world. In addition, Damascus is the fourth holiest city in Islam.
