The Philippines has once again been rattled by a powerful earthquake, while a 7. 4 magnitude quake struck the Mindanao region on Friday, sending residents into a state of panic. According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the earthquake had a depth of 62 kilometers, while the local Phivolcs agency reported it at a depth of 10 kilometers in the sea. This is the second significant earthquake to hit the Philippines within 24 hours, following a 4. 8 magnitude tremor in Northern Philippines on Thursday.
Tsunami Warning Issued

Residents have been advised to evacuate to higher ground or move inland, while phivolcs warned that sea waves could rise by more than one meter in the next two hours. The Honolulu-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center also indicated the possibility of dangerous waves within 300 kilometers of.
