Now after the decision of the court, the survey will start immediately in Gyanvapi. Against the decision of the High Court, now the Muslim side will go to the Supreme Court with its appeal. Muslim side's lawyer Huzaifa Ahmadi has said that we have the option of going to the Supreme Court, our hope is still left. The Hindu side has also decided to file a caveat in the Supreme Court, that is, an appeal has been made to the court to hear their side before issuing any decision.

What decision did the court give?

Hindu side's lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain has given a statement on the court's decision that the court has approved the survey. The ASI has given his affidavit and the court order has come, so no question arises now. The lawyer said that the court has rejected the arguments of the Muslim side. After the decision of the High Court, reactions have also started coming.

UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya has given a statement that the truth will come out from the survey, as soon as Ram Mandir will be decided. Now the wishes of all Shiva devotees will be fulfilled. BJP MP Laxmikant Vajpayee also gave a statement and he said that we welcome the decision, as well as I appeal to the Muslim community to show the courage to accept the truth.

What has happened so far on the Gyanvapi Masjid case?

Let us tell you that the matter of Gyanvapi Mosque of Varanasi has been in headlines for some time, it has been claimed to have Shivling in this premises. In the year 2021, a petition was filed in the court seeking permission to worship at Maa Shringar Gauri Sthal.

This matter has reached the High Court and the Supreme Court through the lower court. After the women's petition, the lower court had ordered a survey in the mosque premises, meanwhile last year the Hindu side had claimed that the Shivling is located in the pond in the mosque.

When the ASI's survey started in the mosque premises after the order of the local court, the Muslim side opposed it. The Muslim side had filed a petition against this in the Supreme Court, then the Supreme Court had asked them to approach the High Court. The High Court heard this issue in the past and reserved its decision for August 3. Now the High Court has made it clear that the survey will be continued, however, it will also have to be ensured that no damage is caused to the mosque premises.
