Jai Shah has announced that legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar will felicitate India's Under-19 women's cricket team, which won the first ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. Cricket Board of India (BCCI) Secretary Jai Shah tweeted, 'It is with great pleasure that I share that Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar and BCCI officials will felicitate India's winning Under-19 team on February 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in the evening. Will honor at half past six. He said, 'Young cricketers have made India proud and we will honor their achievements.'

Women's cricket team's first ICC title

The Indian team, led by Shafali Verma, won the maiden ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup title by defeating England by seven wickets in the final at Potchefstroom, South Africa. This is also India's first ICC title in women's cricket. The winning team will reach Mumbai from South Africa on Tuesday and then go to Ahmedabad on Wednesday for the felicitation ceremony. The felicitation ceremony will be organized before the third and decisive T20 match between the teams of India and New Zealand.

India won the match unilaterally

In this final match, India piled on the England team for a score of 68 runs in 17.1 overs. Archana Devi, Parshvi Chopra and Titas Sadhu have taken 2-2 wickets for India. Mannat Kashyap, Sonam Yadav and Shefali Verma got one wicket each. The Indian Under-19 women's team achieved this target in 14 overs at the loss of 3 wickets.
